I’m looking for advice and recommendations on a good floor-mounted spot welder with a foot pedal switch. Has anyone had experience with a particular model they would recommend?

Hale School are seeking a Design and Technology Workshop Technician – This is a permanent, full-time role , term time only, commencing as soon as October 2026. Dining Hall lunches included!

We are looking for an experienced operator, could be a retired teacher or someone with trade experience. Our technician is responsible for maintaining machinery in our workshops and ordering of supplies, materials and other resources. We love problem solvers and individuals with a bit of bent for seeing solutions from multiple angles. Expect to work closely with a strong, coherent and collaborative teaching team.
