This year’s Western Australia state conference is collaborating with the national conference and will be held at Edith Cowan University Mount Lawley Campus, Perth from Thursday 30 November to Friday 1 December 2023.
The Design Technology Teachers Association (DATTA) National and State Conference is being held with the aim of bringing together educators, researchers, and professionals in the field of Design and Technology to share their knowledge, experiences, and best practices.
The conference will serve as a platform for participants to engage in discussions on the latest trends, innovations, and challenges in the field of Design and Technology education. It will provide opportunities for networking and collaboration and showcase practical strategies for effective teaching and learning.
Furthermore, the conference will highlight the importance of industry collaboration and engagement in Design and Technology education, particularly in light of the rapidly evolving technologies and job requirements of Industry 4.0. Industry professionals can provide valuable insights and expertise that can help educators better prepare students for the changing job market.
