Become a Member of DATTA WA
Full Metro and Country Membership is for employed teachers. Username / email must reflect this with a .edu.au extension and a valid TRB number.
ECU students will need to use their ecu.edu.au email address to identify them as ECU students. Metro, Country, Student and Life Members will have full access to the website including members shop, forums and shared resources.
Allied industry representatives, University associates, AISWA and CEO representatives, D&T Technicians and general public are eligible for Associate membership. Associate members have access to the website forums and members shop, but cannot access shared resources. University associates, AISWA and CEO representatives, D&T Technicians have the option of Full Membership as long as they have a .edu.au email address.
School Memberships will initially require a Primary Contact person who will need access to Names, emails, contact numbers, and TRB numbers of each individual school member at the time of applying for school membership. Once each member has been identified and allocated to the school membership, they can log in to the website and complete their own personal profile.
Schools that buy School Memberships are encourage to fill the maximum number of places with other interested staff from other faculties (design/art, Food/Fabrics, science, maths, STEM). The more people we have contributing to the association, the richer the experience will be for all.
School memberships are paid for and belong to each member school, so if a DATTA member leaves a school, the incoming replacement staff will be given DATTA membership for the remainder of the subscription period. The DATTA member leaving the school will need to make arrangements for renewing their DATTA membership.
Single memberships will effectively be granted when PD courses are purchased at non-member prices. This includes DATTA WA State Conference when purchased at the non-member price. It is proposed that other PD courses will run early in 2018 (Autodesk Inventor and Fusion) with member and non-member prices.
Student memberships will again attract a bonus reward.
Please remember that DATTA WA is not a business, but a Professional Association, managed on a rotating voluntary basis by members. The value of the membership is directly proportional to the effort each and every member contributes.
